Hi, you’ve managed to find the blog of Sandy Matheson. I’m an Anglican vicar of a parish in the South of England called Sarisbury Green. I’m married to Bella, the most wonderful woman I’ve ever met and we have two fantastic children.
I inherited a heart for mission from my father. In my early years we spent two weeks every summer at a CSSM Beach Mission in Post St Mary on the Isle of Mann which was led my my dad. That heart for mission has, I’m sure, been the foundation of the journey I’ve been on for the past few years in seeking to discover how we can move from being a traditional church community, through being a church that does missional events to become one where mission becomes the foundation of all that we are and do.
This blog is part of that journey and I hope you find something helpful here.
